Luiza Gimenes R. Albuquerque received her PhD in 2017 from Universidade de Sao Paulo (Brazil); she studied method development for total determination, fractionation and speciation analysis of trace elements in organic fertilizers. She started working at Idaho national Laboraty in 2018, where she is an analytical chemist and data review group lead at the Analytical Laboratory, at the Materials and Fuels Complex. Her research interests include the method development and analysis using Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry techniques (ICP-MS), such as quadrupole, sector field and sector field ICP-MS. She is also interested in the evaluation of interferences using mathematical corrections, high-resolution intrumental features and collision/reaction cells.
