The Super RTE solicitation is similar to NSUF’s traditional RTE solicitation, but it encourages larger scopes of work and allows researchers more time to perform tests. The award process offers an avenue for researchers to perform irradiation effects studies on nuclear fuels and materials of interest utilizing up to two NSUF post-irradiation examination (PIE) facilities. Prospective researchers are encouraged to request samples from the NSUF [Nuclear Fuels and Materials Library](https://nsuf.inl.gov/page/fuels_materials_library).
