Biography

I am a PhD student majoring in nuclear engineering at Texas A&M University, specializing in Material Science and Physic Science. My degree status is all but dissertation.

My research area is the implantation of ions on the surface of materials using particle beams, understanding defects, and characterization of them. This made me proficient in a variety of characterization skills and gave me a deep understanding of the mechanism of particle beams and defects in materials.

I also have internship experience as a researcher at Oak Ridge National laboratory, creating and analyzing images for investigating the stress caused by thermal expansion and irradiation of the SiC composite materials. I believe this experience of analyzing material’s defects will make me suitable for this position.
