Biography

Dr. Mills is a driven and innovative researcher with expertise in materials characterization and electron microscopy. He received a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at Colorado School of Mines where he studied the effect of fatigue and microstructure degradation in aerospace alloys. He is a current member of the Minor Research group at University of California Berkeley and a user at the National Center for Electron Microscopy where he investigates structural materials that are exposed to coupled extremes such as irradiation, temperature, and corrosion.
