Stavros Corbett obtained a Bachelor of Nuclear Engineering from Ontario Tech University in 2008 and has been working as a Fuel Development research scientist at the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories at Chalk River ever since. His experience includes planning and conducting experimental irradiations in the NRU research reactor until its shutdown in 2018, as well as performing post-irradiation examinations on experimental and commercial PHWR (CANDU) ceramic fuels, and recently some PIE on metallic research reactor fuel.
