Rachel Connick is a PhD student in the Nuclear Science and Engineering department at MIT. She studies radiation material science for applications in nuclear forensics and nuclear energy. In particular, her research is focused on the effects of radiation on precipitation kinetics in metal alloys. She graduated from UC Berkeley in 2016 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering.
