Gamma Irradiations
- Gamma irradiation facilities expose materials and components to controlled gamma radiation — typically from Cobalt-60 or Cesium-137 sources — to study radiation effects on everything from electronics to structural materials. Test objects can range from microchips to full-scale equipment, with dose rates tunable from low, long-duration exposures to intense, rapid irradiations. This capability underpins reliability testing, materials qualification, and fundamental radiation science alike.
