Biography
In 2024, Dr. Bays led a regulatory research project to identify commonalities between the US Army, DOE, and the NRC. The project produced guidance documents for the Army detailing best practices for establishing design and testing requirements for Army nuclear reactors. The project also developed an Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool for generating requirements from historical program documents from heritage advanced reactor projects.
