Biography

Graduate student at OSU. 1st year Ph.D. student in the materials science program at MIME.

GRA position at the Nuclear Science and Engineering Department at OSU. Working with Assistant professor Tianyi Chen at the School of Nuclear Science and Engineering as a research assistant for micromechanical testing and microstructure characterization of novel materials for future nuclear technologies.

Interests in scientific research specialized in surface and nanomaterial characterization with SEM and XPS techniques.  Advanced interpretation of XPS spectra, and morphology analysis with SEM/EDS.

Recent experience with FIB milling for microcantilever fabrication and bending test with nanoindentation for micromechanical testing characterization.

Synthesis of nanomaterials by physical and chemical methods, deposition of thin films by pulsed laser deposition techniques, electron beam evaporation, and magnetron sputtering.
