- Biography
- Dr. Ryan Gallagher is a nuclear engineer in the Molten Salt Chemistry Directorate at Kairos Power LLC. Prior to Joining Kairos Power he was staff member in the Irradiation Engineering Group in the Nuclear Energy and Fuel Cycle Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (2017-2022). He received his B.S. in Engineering Physics, M.S. in Nuclear Engineering, and Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from The Ohio State University. His research focuses on characterizing the chemical and thermophysical properties of molten salts for advanced reactor applications. Additionally he has experience leading and supporting materials and fuels irradiation campaigns including design and thermal analysis of experiements.
